ABOUT THE JOB

We have an excellent new opportunity for a National Account Manager – Aldi as part of our talented Sales team based in Melbourne. As a key responsibility in the role, you will deliver the financial objectives of the Aldi account (Dairy) whilst directly and indirectly managing customer engagement through the execution of aligned initiatives that deliver sustainable and profitable growth.

You will design and support the development of category led customer plans, strategies and business plans and efficiently deliver them against joint targets.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Work closely with Aldi to ensure sales targets are met and ensure timely delivery of agreed KPI’s
  • Manage the forecast and delivery of customer financial performance on a monthly basis
  • Drive the execution of NPD, category, brand, and channel activity aligned to DANONE’s business priorities and key account customer plans
  • Engage with Aldi to agree on annual sales targets, aligned with the growth ambitions of the internal commercial team.
  • Negotiate and agrees the plan to deliver the targets including the new listings, renovation, and marketing initiatives to meet the top and bottom-line objectives

About you

ABOUT YOU

You are an energetic and proactive Key Account Manager who works with resilience and immense passion to achieve great things. Your prior experience in fast paced FMCG environment handling key national accounts will be advantageous. Your strong negotiation and organizational skills with a natural flair to connect with people and build relations will help you succeed in this role. Above all, you enjoy taking ownership & responsibility and know how to act with speed, agility & pragmatism.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing/Business/Commerce or related field
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in managing, or supporting to manage, key leading national accounts like Woolworths, Coles, or Chemist Warehouse
  • Prior experience as National Account Management (Grocery), Category Management or Key Account Management is preferred
  • Drive for results, willingness to learn and take accountability
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop relationships
  • Able to manage several competing priorities and handle ambiguity
