Our Quality & Food Safety team makes sure everything Danone does is rooted in quality. From product innovation and ingredient choice to our marketing and delivery methods, it is their job to ensure consumers get the very best. We are looking for an Analytical Performance Manager to join our team in Louisville, CO!  In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert for the microbiology laboratory. You will lead innovation projects, troubleshoot and investigate incidents, design experiments, develop/validate/implement methods, compile and review reports, support findings with literature reviews, train internal stakeholders, build cross-functional partnerships, and communicate effectively to senior leaders. You will also be expected to maintain the laboratory quality management system according to ISO 17025 requirements with the support of other team members.  Additionally, you will support efficiency and productivity projects across the organization. Your key stakeholders will include: Manufacturing, R&I, Food Safety, Industrialization, and Supplier Quality. The team acts as subject matter experts in the areas of Infrared, Flow Cytometry, Sequencing & Bioinformatics, and Allergens. We work closely with Procurement to optimize contracts that impact the organization at a global level. We also maintain partnerships with external laboratories, vendors, and universities to provide expert level support.


The base compensation range for this position is $75,000-99,000. About you


About You:

You will have:

  • B.S. in Microbiology/Molecular Biology/or related field with 5 to 10 years of experience
  • MS/PhD in Microbiology/Molecular Biology/or related field with 3 to 5 years of experience
  • Background in Bioinformatics (ideally)
  • Experience with Laboratory Management Systems (LIMS) is a plus
  • Experience with Laboratory Quality Systems (ISO 17025) is a plus
  • Experience with Manufacturing is a plus
  • Ability to work from home and onsite (during COVID)
  • Ability to travel ~15-25% (post-COVID)

You will be:

  • Self-motivated, highly organized, ability to multi-task, customer service & team oriented, excellent communication skills, effective at time management, and positive approach to business challenges
  • Understanding of Good laboratory practice standards (GLP) and chemical hygiene requirements
  • Proficient in data analysis/excellent record keeping/documentation
  • Proficient in technical writing
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have proficiency with personal computers, Microsoft Office, shared applications, and laboratory instrumentation
