As part of this position, you will be accountable for:

 

Mission: You are a leader in developing, planning, and executing business strategies and tactics to increase distribution, sales and maximize profits with your respective desks. You will be responsible for growing the Net Sales Danone Portfolio. You will connect and grow our business relationships by enhancing credibility, developing trust and providing insight leadership focused on outstanding service and results. 

 

More Specifically:

  • Engage in efficient planning by forecasting volume & profits budgets through required tasks and initiatives (internal & external) while building strong Customer relationships and managing the daily selling & negotiation processes with the accounts.
  • Develop, lead & actively participate in building a yearly plan with the customers and engage Danone internal strategic planning to maximize business opportunities, drive profitable growth, grow market shares and manage company objectives.
  • Act as central point of negotiation for the accounts related to initiatives. The BDM is accountable for leading negotiations with the accounts in the interest of long-term category development, Danone’s business evolution and Customer Growth agreement business.
  • Coordinate and lead the execution of customer appointments in presenting new products, programs, pricing, and general management of our business.
  • Communicate the accounts priorities and engage the cross functional teams (sales strategy, forecasting, and finance, marketing and supply chain) to positively influence business results.
  • Provide accurate insights & visibility to the Customer Business Team (CBT) on most recent trends, issues, risks & opportunities. 
  • Analyse category trends, promotional activity and product assortment to develop selling stories to deliver maximum sales and profits

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree completed; MBA is a strong asset.
  • 3-5 years of CPG Industry Experience, preferably in the Food Industry.
  • Strong Selling Skills & Experience with Category and Data Management
  • Dynamic and hands-on approach to problems and challenge with a solution driven mindset.
  • Strong negotiation skills & ability to manage business decisions with regards of Customer Growth agreements.
  • Financial Acumen – understand key financial parameters, evaluate risks and make appropriate investment decisions.
  • Information and Communication Management – ability to use current procedures and appropriate technology to manage information and communicate internally and externally.
  • Bilingual an asset
