About the job


As Category Analyst you will give lead & support on the following responsibilities:

  • Leading role with the markets on Category & brand reporting (MS decks, WD & velocity, category trends, innovation tracking) and PRGM (price, promo, portfolio,…) reporting/scorecards. You develop and manage analytical tools for this and consolidate and share back the key insights. You are also proactive in spotting growth opportunities.
  • Active role in the stratplan process in terms of consumer, customer channel & category insights and consolidate across markets.
  • Lead Oat wargame  & Coffee channel reporting (market analysis, customer & channel performance and activations plans).
  • You run the 'rolled up' monthly category pillar reports, providing analysis on overall trajectory of Plant Based category and competition watch.
  • Connect and link with countries, IT and global teams on data automation roadmap. Be the IT SPOC for the markets on reporting.
  • You contribute to the development & coordination of sales concept-sell presentations and category vision linked to joint business planning within assigned market(s).
  • You contribute in commercial excellence projects like 4P analytics (Macrospace, create merchandising guidelines,..).

About you


To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:

  • A Master Degree, preferably in Economics or Commercial Engineering
  • +- 2 years of experience in a similar job or project  (Category, PRGM, Finance, …)
  • Knowledge of Nielsen and IRI
  • Excel and Power BI have no secrets for you
  • Knowledge of GFK is a big plus
  • International mindset & love for plantbased & coffee is a definite plus 😉
  • You’re passionated about data and have strong analytical & critical thinking skills
  • You have a strong drive and dare to take initiative, you’re a “plantrepreneur”
  • Strong interpersonal & stakeholder management skills
