We have an opening for a Controls Technican in DuBois, PA! This role is responsible for maintaining, developing and creating dependable equipment throughout our facility. Implements continuous improvements, supports new system installations, production strategies and plant reliability. Persons must be capable in analyzing conditions, technical troubleshooting through the process, assessing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues which prevent meeting the shift or weekly schedules. Assists, trains/coaches employees in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and the repair of machinery and equipment

About you

Education and Experience
You have a High School education or equivalent
You are a Journeyman in Electrical or have 2-year degree in an equivalent field
You will achieve and maintain required certifications (i.e. ISA, etc.)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
You are proficienct with Rockwell Automation software platforms like RSLogix 500 & 5000, FactoryTalk and familiar with VFD's and HMI's
You are proficient in MS Office and basic PC skills
You understand network systems
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
You have proven decision-making ability and works well in a team environment
You have the ability to prioritize and multitask
You are able to work various hours, shifts and overtime when required


Materials and Equipment Directly Used:
You have used various predictive maintenance equipment, shop equipment and tools, hand tools etc.
You will use office machinery including: computers, printers, fax machines, copiers, telephones, etc.
You have experience using software including: Microsoft Office and CMMS
You have experience and will utilize Industrial power equipment (forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack, etc

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

You have the ability to read, write and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals. You are able to read, comprehend and follow simple and complex instructions. You have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, and small group situations, to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. You have the ability to hear and perceive information at normal spoken word levels.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

You have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Possess the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY:

You have the ability to prioritize and organize. Must have the ability to apply commonsense and understanding when carrying out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
You have the ability to demonstrate superb decision-making skills to determine the best course of action when performing the responsibilities of the job
You demonstrate the ability to identify potential challenges with the process and when to notify the chain of command to prevent process failures
