About the job

The Plant Based Demand Planner is responsible for providing input on demand forecast on all products supplied out of the EU PB supply network and will report to the D2D EU plant based demand planning manager within the European Plant based supply chain organization. You will work from the office in Zwevegem, with possibility to work from the other Danone offices as well.


You will be responsible to:


  • Create and manage processes to consolidate demand forecast input and secure completeness and quality
  • Ensure consistency of forecast from period to period, tracking and explaining changes
  • Closely collaborate with the supply planning team to identify risks and opportunities
  • Being the point of contact for local demand planning teams regarding Plant Based demand FC
  • Provide ST/MT demand planning input to several stakeholders in the EU PB supply network such as supply planning, deployment, logistics, finance, procurement.
  • Establish close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders to capture and analyze all PB demand (CBU, R&I, Activity management)
  • Set up and manage KPI reporting on accuracy, bias, performance
  • Develop processes for reporting in MPS meetings, Capacity meetings, GPS meetings,  RF updates, Strategic plan updates
  • Assist in IBP demand planning implementation – ensure full integration and fluent interfacing between IBP One forecast in local markets and PB platform

About you

  • You hold a Master’s degree, preferably related to Economics or Supply Chain
  • You have at least 2 years’ experience in demand and/or supply planning
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Data driven with strong numerical understanding
  • You have advanced knowledge of excel
  • Potential to build an effective network with the global and local PB community both with commercial and D2D colleagues
  • Ability to challenge and drive consensus between sales and operations.
  • Superior analytical skills
  • Good communication capabilities (knowledge of English is a must, knowledge of Dutch is a plus)
