About the Job
The Senior Manager - Demand Planning & GPS for Nutricia will be responsible for the creation, analysis, and communication of an optimal base forecast of the demand plan utilizing SAP APO modeling and key figure structure for US and Canada locations. The position will lead the collaborative S&OP (GPS) process with key stakeholders for alignment and creation of optimized total forecast to meet business planning needs and to ensure maximum service at lowest cost. The Senior Manager, Demand Planning & GPS will play a key role in the budget process in leading the development of the bottoms up baselines with key stakeholders.
Animate the Demand Planning process on short/ mid and long terms.
Create and maintain a rolling 18 month forecast in SAP APO
Optimize system forecast output by maintaining statistical model parameters
Maintain both commercial and sample forecasts
Calculate, analyze, and report key performance indicators
Maintain APO related master data in the system based on agreed set parameters and business rules
Facilitate meetings between functions to gain consensus on one single forecast as part of the monthly S&OP (GPS) process.
Ensure consistency of forecast from period to period, tracking and explaining changes and helping identify risks and opportunities to the forecast.
Sales and Operations Planning Process (GPS)
Lead GPS monthly meetings (Demand Alignment, Integrated Reconciliation, Executive GPS Meeting and others) within an 18 months horizon
Prepare and lead meetings with key business stakeholders by providing reviews of past planning performance and gap vs forecast - Drive forecast consensus
Analyze and outline deviations from targets in both volumes and values, identify root cause and implement corrective action plan with the GPS team including financials
GPS process continuous improvement.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business or related field
• 6-8 years of Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, and/or Project Management
• Knowledge of Advanced Planning Systems - SAP APO
• Strong experience in Sales and Operations Planning, both process improvement and process leadership
• Strong ability to prepare and present data to multiple levels in the organization
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deadlines
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
• Team player, pro-active, doer, and result oriented
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Power BI

The base compensation range for this position is $97,000 - $140,000.
