To support Danone's top-level ambition to adopt a data-empowered organization, we are building a team in Paris to be the "Data analytics and AI center of Excellence" for Europe as well as the data sciences capabilities for Europe in Danone. We are currently a team of 6 and we are part of the IT organization at Danone, working in close link with other teams supporting data governance, data transformation and master Data Management.

To support our growth and develop new use cases, we are looking into highly skilled and motivated interns, to work on innovative and concrete projects. You will be integrated in a delivery team and coached by one of our Data Scientists.

 

The team has already successfully deployed Machine Learning products in several areas, including but not limited to operations, procurement, consumer & customer relations. With the team focused on local delivery and industrialization, we would like to reinforce our capability to scale to new markets with core capabilities.

You will work on core models aimed at being deployed into several markets:

  • Generalize already existing Machine Learning features lying among topics like econometrics, graphs, time series, NLP, integer programming
  • Contribute to our feature library
  • Test new methodologies / Machine Learning techniques or data sources

About you

  • Master's in computer science, data science or mathematics
  • Dynamic, curious, autonomous, and organized
  • Good communication skills and ability to explain technical information to a broad audience
  • Good knowledge of Python and ML-related libraries (numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, transformers, ...)
  • Familiar with software engineering best practices and eager to put them in practice
  • Knowledge of Pyspark is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure & Databricks is a plus
