About the job:
Co-build IT strategic plans in line with each of the business functions.
Working in close coordination with the Regional Head for overall IT strategy planning and execution.
Ensuring alignment of IT service delivery with business strategy by animating the road map and master plan processes. Delivery of this roadmap through partnering with various internal IT teams and external vendors.
Work with senior leaders to evolve culture and organizational behaviour, elevating IT into a strategic partner.
Proactively develop and build robust relationships with key stakeholders within the business at a Senior Leadership level
Coach business partners and enable them to articulate the technology needs and requirements in their function that will advance business performance.
Improving end to end user experience across all IT initiatives.
Act as the principal technology advisor and a champion for identifying, leading and driving information technology transformation.
Ensure that the business’s strategy and key performance indicators are identified and leveraged for effective IT demand shaping.
Partner with enterprise architects to develop technology enablement business capability roadmaps.
Partner with business and IT leaders to evaluate proposals, build business cases, and plan new joint initiatives, and determine how they fit into business capability roadmaps and priorities.
Partner with business analysts to ensure that essential business requirements are understood, captured, and reflected in solution documentation.
Partner with business transformation or change management teams to ensure that the business unit or function has the capacity and capabilities to implement changes required by new technology solutions.
Bring outside-in or fresh perspectives into the organization by routinely meeting with end customers/consumers, industry peers, and other external sources.
Ensure continuous improvement in value optimization, IT performance, and business processes where applicable.
Advocate for and advance business partners’ knowledge of IT processes, frameworks, roles, and capabilities.
Stay abreast of Digital and Technology trends, solutions and innovation in the marketplace.
Providing support to the business in the commercial process by proposing solutions and participating in the Request for Proposal process and client presentations.
Benchmarking against local players and global best practices in order to Pro-actively look for collaboration on IT initiatives and leveraging existing assets.
Effective and impactful communication of IT deliverables and achievements
Understanding cost drivers, forecasting and management of IT Budget and governance.
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:
IT/IS Degree or equivalent
PMI and / or ITIL qualifications or equivalent
10 years of experience or above in information technology. FMCG industry would be advantageous.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects based on organizational objectives.
At least 3 years in a management position with exposure to Executive business partnering.
Demonstrated track record of creating technology solutions to solve business problems (globally, or across multiple divisions or regions within a single company).
IT Service & Infrastructure Management experience.
Knowledge of data intelligence capabilities
Experience as an IT manager of a team that includes international team members from different cultures and locations would be advantageous.
Ability to build, coach/mentor and lead high performing teams.
Extensive Project management and strong Portfolio management experience.
Application life cycle experience (requirements, specifications, development, testing, deployment) for both Waterfall and Agile (DevOps) Methodologies
Understanding of public Cloud System / Integrated Platform deployments
Experience with IT budget planning and budget maintenance required.
Experience required on Agile discipline / frameworks
Demonstrated ability to interact with and influence senior leadership to drive business value.
Exceptional ability to lead change using positive and collaborative methods.
Skilled at conflict resolution and problem-solving to achieve win-win outcomes.
Highly skilled at creating business requirements documents, use cases, user acceptance test plans, process flow and data flow diagrams.
Demonstrated acumen and passion for business and technology.
Understands the IT industry, e.g. emerging technologies and trends, industry standards, solution architecture, and the vendor landscape.
