Our Sales team works across regions, across categories, and across the business to raise awareness of our products and to help our clients sell them. It is a team of entrepreneurs with a focus on strategy, negotiation and building relationships. We have an amazing opportunity for a Key Account Manager, Designate to join our Regional Accounts team! This role is part of our new Designate Development Program pilot and will provide an amazing development opportunity to internal talent interested in preparing for the next level in the organization. Location can for this role can be Remote but with willingness to align workday to Pacific Time Zone.    

 

In this role, you will provide interim leave support to the West Regionals, Pacific team:

  • Pull data and perform analyses to support sales team in growing the business at assigned customers
  • Input information for sales teams into systems
  • Deliver in-store execution performance
  • Support sales teams with administrative tasks
  • Build and execute category plans at specific customers to grow business (if applicable)
  • Partner with Business Manager to manage relationships and business results and grow sales, profit margin, and market share while effectively managing trade expenses
  • Be responsible for supporting all aspects of the business including assortment, merchandising, pricing, and shelving
  • Lead cross functional team communication (Retail, Supply Chain, Planning) related to promotion, merchandising, and distribution
  • Manage general account duties including promotional allowance contracts, new item set up, and live event management
  • Manage internal updates related to planning system, merchandising calendar, distribution, and broker priorities
  • Identify sales targets and opportunities; monitoring and execution of new products, promotions, and retail execution
  • Maintain and develop relationships with Customer Category team
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans based on understanding of assortment voids, opportunity gaps, and category trends
  • Execute company direction on new item launches and promotional plans
  • Analyze and leverage syndicated and customer internal data to derive account-level strategies
  • Monitor results, identify risks & propose corrective actions
  • Identify upsides & propose ideas to capitalize on opportunities
  • Leverage internal resources such as Category Management, Retail, Planning, and Marketing to partner with retailers for mutual success
  • Be expected to travel up to 25%

About you

 

About You:

  • Have a 4-year business degree
  • Have 0 to 2 years work experience (at least 6 months in Analyst role)
  • Have analytical skills and ability to analyze data
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Have superior communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Have strong, proven potential leadership skills
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be able to organize information
  • Ideally have some CPG experience
  • Be willing to travel 15 – 25%

In accordance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the base compensation range for this position is $72,000-85,000.  Danone North America additionally offers a performance-based bonus and has a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Time Off, and Paid Parental Bonding Leave, among other benefit plan options.
