The Logistics / Operations Coordinator will be responsible for technical and operational interface between the Logistics Department, IT, and Operations as it related to the deployment, training, configuration, and support of the WMS (SAP) application Themis and Generix.
The Logistics / Operations Coordinator will perform proactive analysis of business processes and identification of innovative ways to use the WMS and operations to address near term business needs which includes identifying these opportunities, reviewing and obtaining a disposition decision from the appropriate business client, assessing the fit of these opportunities into current initiatives, or including the opportunity in future demand.
This role will be a critical member of the Logistics and operations department, focused on driving continuous improvement. The Coordinator will conduct analysis and implement improvements for all work processes to eliminate Nonvalue Added Activity. The candidate must be a change catalyst with strong communication and time management skills. Most importantly, be a team player!
Ensure the safety of our people and our products always
WMS (Themis, Generix) Subject Matter Expert
Train and coach users on the execution and adherence to the WMS (Themis, Generix)
Maintain relationship with Crown for service, and training.
IDOC and ghost pallet analysis and clearance.
Attend and support Logistics Department meetings as part of the daily direction setting process
Own the Warehouse Management System functionality
Maintain up to date WMS files and settings
Provide trended data, ad hoc reports as requested by the Logistics Department
Liaison for Knight transportation as needed
Working with sister facilities as needed.
Perform Root Cause Analysis on safety, quality, and shipping errors
Design, drive and perform analysis of recurring transactional and effort-based work processes.
Conduct regular and periodic audits of daily management systems
Provides technical direction/guidance to personnel as required.
Provide inventory on non-stock items, ordering, receiving all PO’s working with Finance buyer.
