Danone North America is looking for a Manufacturing Internship (Learning and Development) in Mount Crawford, Virginia.

 

Summary
Looking for a talented individual to help our Learning & Development department advance employee skills, knowledge, and performance.  The ideal individual will have excellent communication and writing skills, the desire to help people learn and grow, and is comfortable with technology.


 

About you

 

Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage content to support shop floor operations within established timelines.
• Analyze training-related data and generate reports

• Analyze and recommend improvement opportunities and/or changes to increase employee job

   performance.
• Gain an understanding of the manufacturing plant's operations and continuous improvement

   processes.
• Facilitate the flow of information between departments for an efficient operation.
• Perform the tasks as delegated by Department Manager.

 

Job Requirements
• Proficient in the use of MS Office suite programs.
• Demonstrate good communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors.
• Ability to manage assigned tasks and small projects per scope and timeline.
• Willingness to learn and apply Danone North America manufacturing principles.
• Organized and structured with an ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Assess daily tasks and achieve them in a timely manner while communicating status and progress.

• Learning Management Systems (LMS) experience is a plus.

• Experience in facilitating training is desired, but not required.
• Experience in manufacturing is desired, but not required.
