About the Job:

We are looking to hire a Material Analyst to join our team!  In this role, you will be responsible for material call offs for specified materials to support finished goods production plans, minimize obsolescence and provide overall cost containment.



  • Responsible for material call offs for specified materials to support finished goods production plans.
    • Responsibility to ensure adequate materials are on site to support production schedules.
    • Assist in maintaining MRP system. Conduct regular consistent reviews in conjunction with material planner of all parameters and update based on new criteria.
    • Participate in material planning meetings with suppliers
    • Execute packaging run out plans to support material planners with focus on minimizing obsolescence with zero impact to production schedules.
    • Lead for assigned production facility to assist in material warehousing strategies and analyses.
    • Assist with tracking and reporting of key KPIs – obsolescence, supplier inventory levels, DIO, service.


The base compensation range for this position is $55,000-70,000 (commensurate with experience). Education and Experience (Requirements):

Bachelor’s Degree

1 to 3 years supply chain experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated understanding of supply chain processes and safety stock optimization strategies
  • SAP/APO knowledge a plus
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • APICS certification desired
  • Strong project management/organization skills.
  • Success in problem solving and critical thinking
  • Achieve results effectively
  • Anticipates and is proactive.
