About the job


The supply planner is responsible for achieving target customer service levels while optimizing the trade-offs between production capacity constraints & inventory levels and so ensuring lowest total cost. 
Within the supply planning team, we ensure the import of the products of the different European plants for the local Belgian market. You work from our offices in Brussels.


To your responsibilities belong:

  • Define the local stock policy for finished products 
  • Run operational planning for plants and finished products flows 
  • Monitor and optimize the supply network 
  • Coordinate planning results with factory 
  • Control service levels and product losses / food waste 
  • Coordinate shortage policies 
  • Manage product availability and allocation in times of short supply 
  • Run, maintains and upgrades the SNP 
  • KPI follow up and animation: losses, service level, out of stocks 
  • Manage basic masterdata (transportation lanes, copacking system set-up,…) 


The supply planner is taking lead/part in these projects: 

  • Deepdive in SAP/APO to understand flows and improve current ways of working 
  • Improve trade-off between service level and product losses. 


About you

You have obtained a Master degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Engineer (or similar). It would be a great plus if you have a first professional or relevant internship experience. Fluency in English is a must and in addition you speak either Dutch or French perfectly. 


It would be great if you also: 

  • Have knowledge of planning processes 
  • Love to work target oriented 
  • Know your way around Excel, SAP APO or VMI 
  • Have an analytical mindset 
  • Are assertive and a strong communicator with strong leadership skills, able to work under pressure
