Vertical Start Up leader : Engage 2 Change

The EtC VSU (vertical start-up) leader is a key player in the implementation of the projects on our EtC roadmap; to ensure an efficient startup when introducing material and/or equipment changes in the factory by anticipating on SQCDMN issues and integrating operations (needs) fully in the process. He has the responsibility that machines, men, materials and methods are ready to achieve the predefined project startup success criteria, and to sustain on-going target performance in the least time and at the lowest cost.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Efficient preparation of the different projects, pro-actively taking all issues into account
  • Covering for each project factory KPI’s:
    • Safety : 0 open risks and 0 open safety tags
    • Quality : 0 non conformities and 0 consumer complaints
    • Cost: material losses, finished product losses and energy consumption on project targets
    • Delivery : OE on target
    • Motivation: 100% necessary work instructions, training and qualification
    • Nature: CO2 footprint on target
    • Change mgt and communication
  • VSU gate change watchdag: the steps of construction / commissioning / qualification and verification will only be possible with a go from the VSU leader
  • Be part of the project team from design to implementation

About you


You have digital affinity throughout your education or experience. You have a first experience on the shopfloor and are fluent in both Dutch and English.
