The Warehouse Manager Rotselaar is responsible for the operational, process and system solutions of the Rotselaar’s warehouse and its close internal and external environment. Together with customers he/she creates the plans to maximize operational efficiency, customer satisfaction and builds long lasting engagement of the team.


  • Being a safety ambassador, being the first responsible for safety rules and their application on site
  • Driving long term strategy of the site including master plan deployment
  • Managing warehouse/capacity management finished goods  (incl copacking activities) in their role as factory warehouse & distribution warehouse for Belux (incl. extended factory warehouses where needed)
  • Manage the on-site activities (warehouse activities, copacking activities, transport execution, pallet management, customs administration, logistic systems..) to provide highest possible service level to internal/external customers
  • Manage inbound and outbound deliveries, by ensuring stock accuracy, safety rules and site management in order to meet agreed service levels
  • Manage/follow-up the performance of logistics on site at the agreed standards based on clear KPis
  • Responsible for the financials of the warehouse’s activities (budget vs actuals, budget updates) , in order to meet the service requirements in a targeted cost level , while defining/keeping track on opportunities/risks
  • Drive, define  continuity /productivity/efficiency programs and take the  lead in making it happen
  • Lead, inspire, motivate  the Warehouse and WMS teams and indirectly relevant stakeholders
  • Being part of site mgt structure, aligning end to end flows from in- to outbound Rotselaar
  • Leading the internal (e.g.: Markets’ teams, European logistic team, factory) and external relationships (e.g.: suppliers, retailers) for the warehouse
  • Managing audits logistics Rotselaar with internal and external bodies
  • Drive / lead /implement a transformation / digitalization roadmap for logistics of the site Rotselaar (incl. Themis integration/processes
  • Initiating , leading and implementing log. projects on site
  • • Ensure the right follow-up, root causes analysis and feedback on retailers’ complaints
  • • Being an important partner in a social dialogue of the Rotselaar site
  • • Collaborate close /share best practices with the other BE Hub

About you

  •  Masters degree or equivalent through experience
  • Thorough knowledge regarding logistic processes of temperature controlled both for warehousing and transportation
  • Being able to define/present/lead continuous improvement – productivity – digitalization  roadmap and defining logistics master plan of the site in close collaboration with and creating buy in of all stakeholders
  • Have strong & proven leadership, presentation, coordination and convincing skills, this in an environment with workload peaks
  • Excellent project management skills, able to lead multiple projects simultaneously , while having flexibility towards changing priorities
  • Budget management experience
  • WMS and digitalization appetence, English, Dutch and French mandatory, up to date with Pack office use
  • People Management, target oriented and safety mindset, showing necessary drive/engagement/commitment/agility  to make it happen
  • Be able to work independently and be skilled in communicating, managing, negotiating with different stakeholders within and outside Danone
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset , while making able to make a multi-year roadmap
  • Be a true problem solver with collaboration skills
  • Be able to rapidly assess, analyze, and quickly resolve complicated problems with little initial information or direction and with varying degrees of ambiguity
