The Associate Manager, Supply Planning will be responsible for optimizing the replenishment from overseas to the US and Canada distribution centers. The Associate Manager, Supply Planning will be directly responsible for the reduction of replenishment cycles while maximizing products availability and optimizing inventory levels to meet demand plans for each of the distribution centers.


The base compensation range for this position is $82,000 - $110,000. Essential Functions:


  1. International Deployment Planning
    1. Coordinate and monitor product replenishment of existing and new products with company supply points to meet service level and cash flow targets.
    2. Lead weekly cockpit calls with supply point deployment planners.
    3. Manage the make to order portfolio with supply points.


  1. Process
    1. Report supply outages and risks to business with short and long-term action plans.
    2. Execute excess and obsolete inventory supply root cause.
    3. Analyze and continuously develop safety stock and min/max strategy in support of business cash flow targets.
    4. Develop and support reports/dashboard to illustrate Supply outlook, risks, out of stocks, write-offs etc  


  1. Projects & Activity Management
  1. Lead and manage Service Level Agreement with Supply Points
  2. Manage supply plans for Innovation and Renovation projects.
  3. Lead projects with Supply Points for continuous improvement through upstream optimization to include: productivity, cost saving, process optimization, and supply chain quality, data integrity.
  4. Maintaining system master data for Raws & Packs (parameters, characteristics, Orsoft flow).
  5. Other projects as assigned.

About you

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:


  • Knowledge of Advanced Planning Systems (SAP APO).
  • Strong statistical and analytical knowledge. Knowledge/experience in Supply Chain process improvement, process optimization idea generation and implementation.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the impact of supply chain on the supplier and the company P&L.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and knowledge of negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to solve supply problems, minimizing out-of-stock and product obsolescence while at the same time minimizing cash investments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to prepare and present data to multiple levels of the organization.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and on a team.



Working Conditions:




Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or related field. Master’s degree a plus.
  • 3 – 6 years  Supply Planning, Logistics, Sales and Operations Planning, and/or Inventory Planning/Analysis experience.
  • 2 – 3 years Advanced Planning and/or ERP software experience.  SAP APO a plus.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • APICS certification a plus
  • Proficient Power BI user
