About the job

As Brand Manager Aptamil, you will be responsible for leading the Health Care Strategy and Marketing brand plans for Pediatrics portfolio, part of Danone Specialized Nutrition brands.


The purpose of the role is to achieve the company's vision, desired sales, market share, brand result objectives and the brand image target.


Within the role, you will:

1. Drive the Health Care Channel strategy

  • Develop and drive the Health Care Marketing functional strategies and plans
  • Provide competitive insights relevant for the Health Care market
  • Identify and track health care business drivers

2. Manage the Health Care Marketing communication strategy

  • Develop relevant unique and differentiated communication strategies and messaging to deliver brand growth in the medical channel
  • Translate the knowledge behind the brands into compelling, differentiated, and credible HCP communication

3. Manage portfolio

  • Manage existing portfolio with an eye for permanent optimization and proven performance from financial KPIs perspective
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new product propositions that are relevant for the market and can contribute to your brand growth
  • Run P&L analysis and pricing positioning strategies
  • Develop and/or adapt packaging design to respond local market needs and expectations

4.  Conduct market research and adjust marketing plans according to findings

  • Customize and implement global / regional / CBU relevant research trackers
  • Draw out insights and implications from the research
  • Adjust Health Care Marketing brand plans accordingly to address findings
  • Translate and evaluate HCP segmentation outcomes into actionable Health Care Marketing Plans

5. Own and lead projects independently in line with validated deliverables and in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (agencies, solution team, global team, medical KOLs)

  • Planning and organizing skills
  • Marketing and communication strategy, with previous experience in Health Care industry
  • Medical background and education could be an advantage
  • Budget management and prioritization
  • Relationship building and developing, both inside and outside own organization
  • Good command of English language (both spoken and written)
