As a Data Governance Manager you will join our team and lead our enterprise's data governance initiatives. You will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive data governance framework, enhancing data quality, securing sensitive information, and acting as the liaison between data, business, and IT teams. If you are a strategic thinker with a strong background in data transformation projects, we would like to meet you.

The main focus of that role, embedded in business, will be to maximize the potential of data for the further development of the company.

 

Your key responsibilities:

• Establish & implement a comprehensive data governance framework across the organization with a focus on improving data quality and the protection of sensitive data.
• Clearly define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure accountability for the stewardship of the organization's principal information assets.
• Serve as a liaison between data, business, and IT teams, ensuring that data-related business requirements for protecting sensitive data are clearly communicated and well-understood.
• Collaborate with key data functions and cross-functional teams to develop and implement data quality standards, data protection standards, and adoption requirements across the organization.
• Define performance indicators and quality metrics, and ensure compliance with data-related policies, standards, roles, responsibilities, and adoption requirements.
Identify new business opportunities related to the use of information assets to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

About you

To succeed in this role we believe you also need to have:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Management.
• Minimum 4 years experience in data positions (min 2 years in data transformation projects).
• Deep understanding of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to the management of enterprise information assets, and approaches related to data protection.
• Solid experience in project management, with a track record of leading complex projects and overcoming challenges.
• Exceptional team collaboration, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven experience working with data systems.
