Maybe the role of Demand Planner at our office in Solna is the right opportunity for you! This is a temporary position for 1 year, offering you the chance to make an impact while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic setting. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a 6-week forecast to ensure high accuracy against actual sales for EDP products.
  • Clean historical sales data from irregular sales events to establish a reliable baseline for each item.
  • Analyse seasonality and sales trends, integrating insights into forecasts.
  • Incorporate future sales promotions and marketing events into demand planning.
  • Assess sales promotions, consult the sales team for accurate input, and refine promotional plans.
  • Work closely with the Supply Planning team to adjust for short-term deviations and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Manage an 18-month forecast for our products, ensuring alignment with sales trends.
  • Provide weekly and monthly sales volume estimates, identifying and explaining variances against plans.
  • Maintain demand planning master data and product hierarchy structures.
  • Actively contribute to the development of forecasting methodologies and tools.

 

About you

  • A university degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in supply chain-related roles is a plus but not required. What matters most is your passion for learning and development.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities to navigate complex data and trends.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential. Experience with SAP IBP or SAP/APO is an advantage.
