Global SNU Senior Deployment & 3PM Production Planner (Zoetermeer – 15 months temp)


About the Job

 

You are part of the Global Supply Chain Operations SNU team, in charge of Global deployment & 3PM production planning, based in Zoetermeer (location Supply Point). This team is a) deploying Finished Goods stock from our global distribution center, 2000 SKUs going to 80+ countries, representing ~25% of the SNU net sales, b) planning productions of our 3rd party manufacturing factories.

 

Your main responsibilities
• As Deployment planner, you are responsible for all daily/ weekly planning of shipments of the right product, right quality, right quantity, right place and on time for all the sales units.
You will be responsible for:
• Keeping the Stock of all SKUs of the customer between agreed min and max levels
• Creation of sales orders/deliveries for the shipments to CBU's
• Analyzing weekly/daily exceptions on shipment advice
• Identifying and executing mitigating actions (shipment under QC, UPS shipment, last minute loading request, batch strategy)
• Pro-actively inform customers on issues regarding (future) out-of-stocks situation (e.g. quality releases delay)
• Discuss deployment plan improvements with Production planning, Customers and/or warehouse
• Support export documentation (invoices, packing lists, COKZ-documentation, chamber of commerce, etc).
• Managing logistical complaints
• Providing trainings to Junior deployment planners (L10) on best practices / ways-of-working
• APO / SAP key-user within your team
• Single point of contact (SPOC) for one or more factories
• Determine the right fair share of finished goods to Deploy to customers (CBU's) in case of Stock shortages
• Supporting the integrating changes in our systems and processes such as customer warehouse moves and customer system changes


As 3rd party production planner, you will be responsible for:
• Calculating optimal production and delivery plan in collaboration with 3rd party supply points, call off planning, monitoring of productions and deliveries on time
• Ensuring right inventory level of each SKU that satisfy the customer service target keeping in mind warehouse free space constrains and freshness requirements.
• Maintaining a smooth and professional working relationships with 3rd parties and act as SPOC for these 3rd parties, CBU's and any other stakeholder.
• Contributing to supplier improvement agenda, such as MOQ optimization, cost reduction initiatives together with other 3rd party manufactures departments.
• Flagging any short, mid or longer-term capacity issue or opportunity.
• Reviewing with key CBUs demand deviations and challenge to get the most realistic result.
• Working closely with Deployment and Quality functions to ensure that product is delivered to the markets in the right quantity and timing.
• Ensuring all systems settings are up to date to complete the above tasks.
• Supporting Activity management team on New Product Introduction projects for 3rd party products.

About you

About You
We are looking for someone with a BSc degree with at least 3-5 years of experience in production/ supply chain
environment preferably working in, or closely with, food, pharma, medical or FMCG industry. You have
experience with supply or demand planning. Moreover, you have demonstrated potential to collaborate with
experts across diverse disciplines.
In addition, you fit this role perfectly because you are/have:
• You have experience with SAP or other ERP systems
• Customer focused, service oriented
• Being able to process large amounts of data into valuable information for the customers
• Take pride of the work that must be done and have ownership for specific issues or improvements
• Strong analytical competences and structured way of working
• Open to a changing environment and willing to be part of the change
• Always be critical on the process and questions received, wanting to know all in detail
