Healthcare Brand Manager
(Fulltime, Zoetermeer) 


In the role of Healthcare Brand Manager you will be developing, implementing and evaluating specific marketing plans for the Therapeutic Areas (TA's) linked to the paediatrics category eg: Faltering Growth and Allergy Relief. You will be tasked with the objective to achieve both long and short term TA/brand objectives, including sales and profitability targets and to work cross functionally to drive the development of the Therapeutic Areas and brand plans. 


Key Responsibilities: 


  • Analyse business dynamics (patient to retail journey, stakeholders, authorities, channels, competition) and proposes how to further build the Therapeutic Areas/categories/brands
  • Contribute to and execute Therapeutic Areas and brand marketing strategies and plans based on thorough analysis of market, environment, competitive and consumer trends
  • Work with Global Team by sharing local activities, best practices and performance updates while implementing global best practice and execute products/innovations/services programs



  • Create relevant messaging and contact strategies to positively influence endorsement of Key Opinion Leaders on the TAs
  • Combine deep understanding of internal and external stakeholder needs and value proposition development and co-develops the competitive value proposition for our brands within a TA by Medical Affairs, Sales and Market Access
  • Convert the value proposition to a story and tests the story to evaluate potential impact on selected stakeholders
  • Proactively support the sales force and Medical Affairs Managers through on-going communications of Therapeutic Area plans, as well as through development and implementation of effective selling materials and training
  • Work closely with sales and go into the field to strengthen their understandings of sales and customers



  • Contribute to insight generating projects and workshops
  • Identify penetrating and actionable insights from the deep understanding of the market and key stakeholders
  • Evaluate actional insights from the market analysis, stakeholder observation and immersion

About you

In order to be successful in this position you will need a minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in marketing FMCG or Healthcare. It would be a strong preference if you have experience in sales or digital marketing as well. In addition you will need to be: 

  • Fluent in English and Dutch
  • A self-starter with hands-on mentality. Strategic thinker - keeps an eye on the bigger goal/picture, creative thinker - to explore new paths to bring business growth.
  • Highly capable to translate insights from market/patients into meaningful business opportunities. Dares to take bold decisions (when based on facts).
  • A good understanding of the health care environment will be needed for the job, therefore, experience in the health care segment/relevant health care products is a big plus.
