About the Job

 

Context :

Food systems and global value chains need to be transformed to be fit for the future. This is a technical role supporting the implementation of the Danone Impact Journey strategy focusing on Responsible Sourcing by analyzing data, measuring progress, and innovating ways we can model, track risk-assessment, and analyze impacts of our responsible sourcing projects.

For each pillar, Danone defines a new set of priorities which are translated into mid to long-term objectives, focusing on where the company can deliver the most impact and value. 

 

Mission :

As our new Sustainable Sourcing Data Manager Intern, you will join the Global Sustainable Sourcing team under the Procurement Organization (called Cycles & Procurement) and support the Risk and Due Diligence team to execute our data driven strategies. You will actively participate in the team by:

 

  • Analyzing, interpreting, and monitoring various responsible sourcing data using internal Danone (and external) platforms
  • Assisting the Risk and Due Diligence team in the creation of strategies based on data by focusing on Tier-1 supplier risk screenings, spend updates, global supplier manufacturing sites and other various KPIs
  • Visualization of the analyzed data in order to support the team in proposing strategies to the procurement community

About you

You are the perfect fit if:

 

  • You are an enrolled student in Business, Economics, Data Science, or a relevant field
  • You have an analytical mindset as well as a creative side to synthesize and communicate data with excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI
  • You have a good eye for detail to the quality of information provided
  • You possess the ability to challenge situations, act with resilience and manage different sets of data

 

There are also some compulsory requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
  • Ideally available to start in November/December 2024 for 6 up to 12 months, 3 days per week;
  • You are fluent in English - oral and written;
  • You are able to work from our Hoofddorp office 2 times per week;
  • Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We Offer

 

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.

 

* Please be aware that you must acquire a BSN number to receive the full internship allowance.
