This internship will take place in Gif-sur-Yvette (91), in our superb new global Danone research & innovation center, as of September 2024.  

To thrive in your missions, your coaches (aka your managers) at Danone, Inès, Quality in Design senior manager, and Eve, Quality in Design Director, will help you cross the finish line:

  • 50%: Deliver Quality and Food Safety in Design KPIs as an integral part of the global QFS Dashboard quarterly, and for a selection of regional top projects, a targeted & more granular monitoring;
  • 50%: To lead a project called “So Chew” targeting the First Diet category (babies from 4 to 36 months) by assessing different markets (Netherlands, Italy, and Poland) the risk of CHOCKING. The objective is:

1/ Prepare with the 3 CBUs tasting workshops with experts in Pediatric, Marketing, R&I, Quality, and Food Safety team.

2/ To review the existing way of working, the impact of local food culture, and concurrent aspects. To understand how they assess the risk and define the staging.

3/ From the 3 Workshop to compile and align X-CBUs on the ways of working for EU on age staging to minimize the risk of choking.

4/ Created standards/guidelines

5/ Implementation + training



  • Being part of a highly dynamic & expert global team and interacting with local team members, all over the globe. Being able to travel in 3 different CBUs to understand the cultural aspect of food behaviors.
  • Internship: You will receive gratification from 1 300€ (Bachelor or gap year) to 1 500€ gross/month (Master 2)
  • Advantages of the location: Global Research & Innovation center with plenty of opportunities to learn more about different roles & career paths across R&I and QFS
  • Up to 2 days/week of homeworking (home-office)

About you

You are a champion:

  • Available from September 2024 for a duration of 6 months & willing to travel 3 days for each of the 3 markets (NL/IT/PL) twice,
  • You have 4 to 5 years of study level from a university or engineering school.
  • Appetences: rigorous/disciplined, results-focused, willing to ask questions.
  • Language: Do you speak English? We need someone fluent. French is a bonus. 
  • Software: the pro of Excel and ideally PowerBI (or highly interested in to learn this tool)
