Medical Affairs Manager Metabolics and Epilepsy Benelux (Dutch Speaking)

Be the Benelux responsible Medical Affairs Manager to support and execute the medical affairs strategy for the metabolics and epilepsy category. You are dedicated to improve health by driving medical credibility, demand and access through innovative partnerships and scientific based solutions. You will work in close connection with the metabolic & epilepsy cross-functional team (marketing and medical sales) to drive scientific/medical content, rationales, accuracy and science needed for development of strategy and execution. 

Main responsibilities:

• Co-develop content and resources for healthcare professionals, patients and their caregivers;
• Execute the medical affairs strategy and tactics for metabolics and epilepsy category;
• Build and nurture relations with key internal and external stakeholders;
• Plan and execute educational events for healthcare professionals, patients and their caregivers in close collaboration with cross-functional team;
• Deliver and execute scientific- and product training to in- and external stakeholders;
• Keep up to date with latest science to ensure we are always on the leading edge;
• Collaboration with cross-functional team

• Master or PhD-Degree in Nutrition, (para-) medical background
• Experience in the field of nutrition/pharma as medical affairs with a strong understanding from nutrition/dietetic perspective of different conditions/diseases, nutrional science, clinical needs, clinical practice and health principles as well as working in a cross-functional team with a commercial mindset.
• Experience in the field of metabolics and ketogenics is a pre
• Both content driven and commercial oriented
• Perseverance and strong push;
• Has the ability to transfer scientific knowledge into general communicable language to engage others
• Strong social and communication skills;
• Willingness to travel to develop business relations with KOLs and external stakeholders (proximity within cluster is key);
• Collaboration skills to establish credible and meaningful relations;
• Network, learn and share from others. Demonstrate curiosity, look outside areas of interest and/or expertise;
• Solve complex problems with smart & pragmatic solutions. Ability to switch between “big picture” & “hands-on” approach;
• Budget management, ability to execute spendings according to plan and adapt when necessary;
• Fluent in Dutch and English, French is a pre
