Role Purpose:

 

To deliver profitable growth and excellent execution within the impulse channels and customer accounts. Developing and nurturing key contacts across the channel, wining new customers & distribution points as well as working with cross-functional teams to help create and deliver the company and channel strategy

 

Key Activities:

  • Drive net sales, investments, and customer profitability across all Danone categories. Achieve annual, quarterly, and monthly customer targets to foster profitable growth for both Danone and our valued customers.
  • Drive sustainable growth for Danone and customers on an annual basis, ensuring mutual success and long-term partnerships.
  • Joint Business Plans Retail Execution
  • Ensure flawless execution of agreed activations year-round to maximize impact and drive strategic success.
  • Foster and manage relationships to breathe life into Joint Business Plans in stores, creating impactful partnerships and driving results.
  • Regular store visits to know what is happening on the ground
  • Liaising with distributors to provide briefs for tactical activations
  • Managing the promotional and pricing plans, ensuring these are aligned internally
  • Review return on investment internally and externally, tweaking the plans where relevant
  • Lead the building and execution of our customer specific plans Delivery of internal and external P&L targets  
  • Working alongside Category to identify and deliver against distribution gaps
  • Working closely with supply chain to foresee any challenges and ensure clear consistent communication is delivered externally to maximise business continuity
  • To support junior members of the team through delivery management by setting the plans for activities and desired outcomes, engages the team on the ‘why’ of each project and coaching on the day-to-day challenges

About you

We would like you to demonstrate your following key skills:

  • Good relationship building skills
  • Able to work autonomously to find solutions to challenges
  • Able to build their network and can engage others through clear communication
  • Ability to deliver a demand led Joint Business Plan
  • Ability to use questioning and listening to gain true customer needs
  • Good commercial acumen with clear examples of strong P&L management
  • Able to demonstrate experience of well-prepared negotiations including ‘must gets’ ‘wish list’ and ‘concessions’

Salary Bracket: €55k - €60k plus car allowance of €6500
