As a Packaging Development Engineer you'll be responsible for executing the development of packaging implementation starting from the marketing brief till industrial production in plant while respecting Food Safety and Danone quality standards, consumer satisfaction with best quality at optimum cost.

Main Responsibilities:

•  Execute packaging development handover and implementation until production and delivery to the consumer as per Danone Food Safety guidelines
• Participate in the Supplier Quality Assurance Program to ensure Food Safety for all Packaging material
• Help Industrial to achieve Quality and productivity targets
• Execute or participate in all cost optimization or Environmental sustainability projects
• Prepare & finalize supplier agreement and packaging material specifications with C&P & /or Supply Chain
• Validate packaging solution for Quality, environmental impact, and cost
• Validate packaging through Industrial tests from plant to destination (consumer)
• Establish a Food Dossier file for all new packaging
• Commercialization of all packaging modifications or all supplier change
• Validate that our packaging supplier can ensure conformity for Food Safety and Quality
• Ensure that each plant has regular Packaging evaluation follow-up
• Communicate within the company Monthly packaging quality results (both raw material and finished product

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor of Engineering/science in any discipline or related field
• 0-3 years of experience in Quality or Manufacturing
• Fluent in Arabic and English languages

• Packaging chemistry and process background

   

• Food packaging line technology background
