Senior Tax Manager

Danone are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join the business. In this role you will oversee all tax related matters for both Australia and New Zealand, complying with all relevant tax laws whilst providing support and advice to senior leaders within the business.


Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):


  • Ensure tax compliance matters are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage relationships with tax authorities, advisors and local external auditors 
  • Responsible for accurate tax reporting and forecasting 
  • Identify and lead projects to generate tax savings, including projects managing the Effective Tax Rate (ETR)
  • Monitor tax developments, legislative changes and tax reform issues impacting Danone 
  • Support local teams with the preperation of financial statements and projects
  • Interact effectively with key business partners and staff across the different areas both locally and globally 

About you



An experienced Tax Manager, you will have conviction with your communication and take ownership of all tax related matters with ease, known within the business as the tax expert. You will be able to navigate relationships within a complex global organisation as well as with external stakeholders, working in a timely manner to drive towards positive business outcomes. 


Ideally you will have:


  • A minimum of 5 years demonstrable experience within a tax related position 
  • Exposure to working within one of the Big 4 would be advantageous 
  • Finance related qualification 
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with a variety of stakeholders
