Role Purpose:

Define the strategic role that experiential, events and sponsorship can play within our marketing mix.

Develop brand-specific sponsorship and experiential plans throughout the ICP process and activate these to a high standard through integrated brand campaigns to maximise the ROI of Danone's investments in this area.

 

Key Activities:

  • Establish the strategic role of sponsorship, experiential, events and sampling within the marketing mix.
  • Consult and engage with the Global team to ensure strategic alignment and that we’re applying best practice, learning from other markets and avoiding duplication.
  • Develop a measurement framework to isolate the effect of experiential and sponsorship on Danone’s business, including detailed performance KPIs.
  • Work with brand teams to build strategic plans for sponsorship and experiential throughout our annual ICP process, scaling plans up or down where relevant.
  • Support the planning and execution of sponsorship and experiential activities in-year, defining what ”great” looks like and ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and in full.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners responsible for our key events, including Wimbledon, British Summer Time, and Ascot.
  • Manage our sponsorship and experiential agencies to ensure  service levels are met, budgets are managed and campaigns delivered.
  • Own the delivery of events and sampling from an “on the ground” point of view, including staffing and performance.
  • Work with our sponsorship and PR agencies to identify and manage potential talent or brand ambassadors as well as influencers.
  • Lead contract negotiations with rights holders, talent agents and secure the best deal for Danone, including media value, rights and benefits.
  • Develop an integrated approach for sampling events.
  • Healthcare deliverables: Congress, planning, synergies, contract negotiation

  • Contract negotiation skills, commercial acumen, unlocks media touchpoints.
  • Great understanding of how experiential and sponsorship drives digital engagement and interacts with offline media, including retail.
  • Delivers powerful creative ideas

 

Salary Bracket: £70,000 - £80,000pa
