【Primary purpose of the Role】
This role is part of the Talent & Learning team. Its primary function is twofold, firstly it is to attract the best talent into Danone Japan through articulating and leveraging our Employee Value Proposition and pro-actively sourcing the best talent into Danone. Secondly this role will be identifying the capability needs and strategic learning priorities for their functions to ensure we are developing the capabilities needed for the future.
Using your strong passion for talent management and learning, your belief in people, you will work with our HRBPs to support in execution of strategies ideas and processes to maximize Danone Japan’s organizational capability while making our Danoners are well-engaged and competent in their functions.
【Main responsibilities】
Talent Acquisition:
Lead the Employee Value Proposition activation internally and externally
Attract and select the right people into Danone
Support Line Managers through the recruitment process
Long term view of talent needs for Danone and proactive scouting
Talent Development:
Provide input into Talent strategies & policies
Be involved in the annual Talent Review/Succession Plan cycle
Coordinate talent pool by having a clear vision to anticipate needs & available talent
Work with Global Mobility and talent teams on the hiring and relocation of international talent to Japan through the Danone network
Projects as required
HR Cycles:
Lead the Talent Acquisition and Learning reporting needs
As required support the deployment of the HR Cycle 5C (Set your Objectives, Plan your Development, Keep regular catch ups, Assess your Performance and Understand your Compensation)
Learning:
For allocated portfolio identify functional capability needs and learning solutions (leverage global learning & local solutions) and drive these for your functions
Manage & facilitate the Dan Discovery Induction program
Lead Onboarding Learning - Digital and Classroom
- Manage eLearning resources for all employees and new hires - review/revisions, content creation, collecting employee/HR input and feedback
- Facilitate onboarding process together with Talent Acquisition team for all new hires
- Support any learning needs, including content creation and delivery for new hires
Identify and localize global learning programs and activities for Japan
- Lead the design or evolution of learning programs, in line with the vision & priorities of Global and Regional
- Identify local business collective learning needs with HRBPs and Team Leaders to tailor specific training programs, and deliver the training to target population using expertise and existing solutions
- Design procedures for and ensure collection of post-learning feedback from Danoners; providing analysis and recommendations based on trends in partnership with Learning Coordinator and Learning Managers
- Facilitate training programs as appropriate
Education background:
• Possess a General Bachelor’s Degree and above
Technical Skills and Experiences required :
• Experienced in Learning & Development areas both in learning design, learning program implementation and training logistics
• Experienced with one or more of Talent Management categories (eg Acquisition, Development, Succession planning)
• Ability to effectively manage/communicate to different level of stakeholders
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese
• Experience in project management with strong organizational skills
• Possess exceptional customer service focus, including attention to producing high-quality results
