The supply planner is responsible for a set of factories and products for which he/she will ensure the right level of inventory, managing customer service level and waste. Based on actual stock and forecast, the supply planner ensures with the producing factory or deployment team stock is available at the right place at the right time in the right quantity.
Supply planning, together with demand planning is part of the planning department in the operations D2D team of Danone Belux.

To give you a sample of your main activities:

• Define the local stock policy for finished products
• Run operational tactical planning for plants and finished products flows
• Coordinate planning results with the factory
• Control service levels and product losses/food waste
• Coordinate shortage policies
• Manage product availability and allocation in times of short supply
• Run, maintain, and upgrade the supply network planning tool (SNP)
• Follow up and animate KPIs: losses, service level, out of stocks
• Manage basic master data (transportation lanes, co-packing setup, etc.

📚 Educational Logistics background or experience in Supply Chain Planning: You have an educational background in Logistics or initial experience in Supply Chain Planning. You enjoy the buzz of Supply Chain, are process-minded yet flexible, and can handle pressure while always keeping the end goal in mind.

💻 Tech-Savvy: Already a wizard or openness to become a wizard in the following tools: Excel, SAP APO, VMI.

🤝 Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain good relationships with import planning teams, European plant planning teams, local warehouse, and local production planning teams.

🧩 Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address any issues that arise in planning and coordination.

📅 Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple contacts and tasks efficiently.

🗣️ Communication Skills: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with various teams and stakeholders.

Are you eligible for a V.I.E?

V.I.E is a type of contract linked to Business France (French public organism) allowing Europeans to work internationally for a designated company. This is a 6 to 24 months contract.

• You must be aged 18 to 28. You must have completed national service obligation.
• You must be a citizen of the European Economic Area.

• You have never done a V.I.E before.
