(Japanese Required)Manager - Milk & Dairy Ingredients Sourcing

Provide competitive advantage in cost, quality, security, service, innovation, and sustainability by linking internal business needs with external milk and dairy ingredients supplier capability in the most optimum way in order to deliver total best value to consumer. (total annual spend to manage is 10 billion JPY.)

Main responsibilities

• Develop Milk & DI sourcing strategy for DJ, which is robust enough to work for next 3years.
• Implement the sourcing strategies accordingly, i.e. conduct right sourcing tactics such as negotiation and tender for Milk & key DIs and manage strategic supplier/key stakeholders’ relationships appropriately. 
• Put right internal control in place such as commercial contract and compliance tool.  
• Manage daily quality milk delivery via systemic supply chain improvement from Farmers to Factory
• Lead multifunctional saving/value creation projects
• Report Milk & DI cost, value and saving results via Global and Local Scorecard periodically.
• Networking with dairy key stake holders, associations, and local farmers communities.

Education background

• University graduate

Technical Skills and Experiences required

• Strong capability for problem solving and strategic thinking
• Strategic sourcing experience for 10years or equivalent business experience
• Fluent English & Japanese communication (TOIEC score above 800 level)
