About the job

  • Forecast, monitor and report material costs, Inventories, CAPEX in line with company’s rules, requirements & finance deadlines.
  • Partner with dept. costs owners to provide meaningful suggestions and insights backed by data driven analysis to support the management of the company to achieve our objective: a strong sustainable & profitable growth.
  • Develop & maintain accurate & user-friendly dashboards for COGS.



About you

Main responsibilities


  • Material Controlling: follow-up and report to the company the costs of materials, provide accurate variance analysis and forecasts.
  • Inventory controlling: In collaboration with Demand and C&P teams, work on the improvement of inventory forecast with the goal to optimize FCF and warehousing occupation.
  • Investment controlling: CAPEX follow-up and report, for both company total capital expenditure and per project.
  • CAPEX Approval Request (CAR): co-piloting the creation of CAR with a focus the finance KPI (Payback / NPV / ROA), follow-up of approval flow and SAP set-up.
  • 3PM Controlling: Support senior COGS controller on the development of 3PM businesses (business plan, follow-up, post-mortem, etc…).
  • A basic command of Microsoft PowerBI tools (or similar tools) is preferred to be capable of creating new and maintaining current dashboards.
  • Deliver all the key Finance reporting deadlines in line with company planning.
  • Be agile to ad-hoc requests from other finance team members/regional or central controllers/other departments.



CAPABILITY PROFILE – Required Background

Education background

  • Bachelor degree (B.A.) from college or university; two or more related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Technical Skills and Experiences required

  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Japanese languages.
  • Comfortable working with local & global stakeholders at all levels.
  • Superior problem solving and analysis skills, combined with good business judgment.
  • Excellent Finance modelling skills.
  • Analytical skills and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Experience in working with large datasets and creating and maintaining reports.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Interest in how production works with the will to spend time at the factory.
  • Experiences at production site is highly valued.



Competencies to be successful on the job


  • Microsoft Excel: advanced level.
  • Microsoft Power Point: basic level
  • SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Microsoft Power BI preferred.
