The IT & Data – Operations, R&I, QFS team is part of the Global IT & Data at Danone, with the purpose “We inspire & empower Danone through the world of tech and data” we enable Danone to achieve its Renew Strategy and Danone Impact Journey goals. IT & Data has set an ambitious vision, for technology and data to be declared strategic differentiators of Danone, powered by a product-centric IT & Data organization.

 

We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst – Sustainability, as part of Sustainability Product Squad, the position is based in Poland.

 

Sustainability Product Squad deliver & manage digital capabilities that enable enterprise capabilities related to Sustainability such as Enterprise CO2 Reporting, Product Footprint Calculation, Supplier Decarbonization, EU Deforestation-Free Regulation Compliance, and other capabilities to enable Danone Impact Journey strategy and achieve its goals.

 

The role will report to Senior Product Owner – Sustainability and is based in Poland. You will start by understanding end‑user needs and supporting the Senior Product Owner to make the vision a reality, maximizing value creation through analysis and clear communication, ensuring end‑to‑end satisfaction in scope. Translating the vision into reality by delivering a defined backlog aligned with the vision, communicate with Product Builders & Software Providers who will develop the product.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • collaborating with Senior Product Owner to define, communicate & align product vision & strategy
  • analysing data to generate insights for product strategy and decisions
  • Collaborating with Product Owner on requirement gathering & prioritization
  • communicating and clarifying business needs across teams
  • managing product backlog; defining guardrails where applicable
  • planning & reviewing work with squads; demonstrating completed work
  • identifying & managing dependency with other products/extensions/squads
  • planning & communicating release & roadmap
  • supporting risk identification and mitigation
  • refining acceptance criteria with the Senior Product Owner
  • driving continuous improvement via stakeholder/end‑user feedback
  • supporting stakeholder communications
  • producing performance analysis; recommending enhancements

 

About you

We expect you to have:

  • At least 5 - 8 years of experience:
    • Around the Sustainability area (carbon reporting & life cycle analysis), Supply Chain area (traceability & transparency) or Financial area (Financial Reporting & Product Costing)
    • and in translating business requirements into digital action plan and solutions
  • Functional skills of Sustainability, Supply Chain or Financial process knowledge
  • Good knowledge of extracting and manipulating data (PowerBI etc)
  • Good knowledge of SAP ERP MM & PP module
  • Familiar with product management methodology, animation of requirements gathering & issue tracking, documentation
  • Fluent in English, French desirable and ability to work in international environment
  • Leadership in transversal situations, non-hierarchical management skills, customer oriented, team spirit, Determined, pragmatic, good listener, can-do attitude
  • Master’s degree in Information System, Sustainability or Supply Chain
