MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

The role of the Head of Marketing APAC is to develop the brands growth strategy, recommend and implement all activations in the region leveraging global guidelines and relying on local consumer knowledge and own intuition.

The role is also in charge of initiating trade/channel marketing activities across the different channels and countries to excel in in-store availability and visibility to ensure the achievement of sales objectives.

 

By developing the best visibility and activation for our brands both below the line and above the line, and by providing the right tools to sales team and business partners, he/she is a strong contributor to the growth in Asia and overall EVAI organization.

 

The main responsibilities of the Head of Marketing APAC include amongst other things the following:

 

1/ Understand Consumers, Markets and Brands performances with the objective to generate business insights and translating them into opportunities

- Consumers profiling: Understanding of local target audience along with consumption behavior, consumer touchpoints strategy recommendation, priority hotspots identification

- Market & Competition: data analysis, competitors’ strategies and actions plan assessment, pricing strategies etc…

- Business Co-work: support sales team to conquer and animate new Big Clients or new geographies

 

2/ Co-lead the Zone Business Plan and recommend & pilots the Brand Activation plans along with innovation needs

- Zone Business Plan: in coordination with the sales team and according to global Brand Strategies, co-leading the development of Zone Business Plan, recommend its Strategic directions for sustainable Business Growth.

- APAC Marketing and Trade marketing plans: Develop & lead the full marketing and Trade marketing agenda for the region

- Activations: Develop, recommend and implement activation plans making Global Brand platforms relevant to area target consumers and targeted communities (affluent locals and tourists)

- Digital: recommend, develop and implement a digital strategy and create a day-to-day digital relationship with our consumers. Integrate e-com as a selling but also telling tool.

- Lead Innovation Projects for the region (NPDs, renovations and Range extensions): assess market needs, proactively demand for product needs (leveraging on international NPDs or requesting new ones) and recommend & execute launch plans

 

3/ Channel Activations:

- Develop selling tools, toolkits, selling stories for our teams and partners

- Develop guidelines and transversal standards for in-store activities, including point of sales materials and promotions; both for online channels, retail and away from home.

- Monitor trade activities efficiency by gathering both quantitative data as well as qualitative data, feedback from partners, customers, and business development.

-Build strong partnership with local partners (agency, distributor, chefs) to implement plans

 

4/ Track & Facilitate business results

- A&P budget: responsibility and efficient management of A&P, and A&P tracking

- Ensure the excellence in execution for all channels (training distributors/ agencies, recommend and check materials etc.);

- Business results tracking & analysis: internal data performance analysis;

- ROI evaluation: Build regular monitoring of brand activities on channel level.

 

5/ Team Management

- Recruit, animate and develop team spirit and team members

- Enhance team to remain Open, informed and connected to local markets on any topics.

- Enhance team in the EVAI mkg community building

 

6/ Be an active and impactful APAC Leadership team member, together to drive all business and people agenda in APAC

A propos de vous

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Would typically have 8+ years of relevant experience in Brand Marketing (an experience in trade marketing is a plus), within a strong multinational FMCG company or Danone classical CBU; Relevant experience in international environment is recommended;  efficient stakeholders management and empowering people management expertise is key; proven experience in engaging and managing distributors a real plus; former experience/background in sales is also a plus; experience of the premium/luxury categories or beverages would be a plus.
