Danone MENA is looking for a talented Demand Planning Coordinator to be based in Algiers, Algeria like you!
Join our Operations team as a Demand Planning Coordinator and play a key role in support demand planning manager in data accuracy, root cause analysis, KPIs management. Prepare, clean and consolidate all inputs required for the monthly demand. Maintain forecast files and ensure data accuracy before upload into planning systems. Contribute to the GPS process through timelines improvement. Support closing process for Maghreb and levant cluster.
Objectives of the Role
Forecasting & Data Management Support :
- Prepare, clean and consolidate all inputs required for the monthly demand forecast ( history, sales data, IT costomer inputs)
- Assist in Generating statistical forecasts and updating demand planning tool.
- Ensure Phase in / Phase out (PIPO) transitions are correctly executed.
GPS/INP Process Coordination:
- Support the Demand Planning Manager in preparing materials for the demand planning review.
- Consolidate inputs from Sales, Marketing, Finance, and supply chain.
- Assist in capturing risks, opportunities and key discussion points.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as a coordination point betwee,, Sales Teams, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Planning/Deployment/Finance.
- Support in ensuring all Planning assumptions ( Promotions, events, market dynamics) are collected and validated.
Master Data & System Administration:
- Ensure planning master data is accurate ( SKU codes, hierarchies, product attributes)
- Support monthly system closing for Maghreb and levant clusters.
- Validate that demand upload is 100% corrcet before extraction.
Perfomance Tracking & Reporting
- Support in bulding and updating dashboards for: FA, forecast Bias, Submission FTR, PIPO FTR.
- Assist in preparing reports for weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews.
Order Proposal & Customer Allocation Support:
- Exact data for order proposals and prepare recommendation files.
- Consolidate stock, sales, forecast and IT data by customer.
- Review proposals with Demand Planning Manager.
Über Dich
To be Successful in the role you should ideally have:
Language:
Fluent in English, French is an advantage.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years experience in a multinational FMCG and/or Pharma company.
Primarily hands on knowledge on local distributor management and supply chain management.
Education:
A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is often required.
