Junior Product Development Manager

As a Junior Product Development Manager you will develop and support products for the EDP category which includes Innovation, Renovation & formulation of existing products, cost saving initiatives & business continuity plans. 

About the job:

As a Junior Product Development Manager, you will be doing the following activities:

• Develop locally produced EDP NPD pipeline to ensure flexible and rapid delivery of initiatives to support business growth. (Innovations/Renovations).
• Support idea generation and pipeline development “EDP”.
• Initiate & support productivity projects on the category to support the business.
• Develop and execute projects utilizing solid technical project management tools and skills to ensure objectives are accomplished on time, to the agreed standards and within budget
• Translate business requirements into measurable technical requirements and communicate requirements to technical team through “technical brief documents”

• Responsible for the nutritional management i.e.: Nutritional calculator with respect to Nutritional guideline.
• Act as the guardian of quality for the brands through owning product, process and material design standards.
  
  
• Prepares and maintains documents (trials, trial reports, raw material and product specifications, recipe formulations, product/process flow diagrams, product quality standards).

• Maintains good communication standards across the business environment. and assists the factory in troubleshooting of any technical issues. 
• Responsible for prototyping on kitchen & pilot scale, then translating to mass production.
• Responsible for the handover process & technical readiness prior to product launches with close monitoring of product performance to ensure smooth handover to Factory.

• Responsible for recipe management (creation & maintenance of BOMs on SAP & standardization sheet)
