As a Logistics Performance Manager, you will play a key role within the Logistics Department in transforming our operations across Canada. Your mission is to drive continuous improvement, design and lead high-impact optimization projects, and foster a sustainable performance culture across all logistics activities, including distribution, warehousing, and transportation. 

 

You will be responsible for developing and managing strategic performance indicators (KPIs), identifying operational efficiency opportunities, and coordinating initiatives aimed at reducing costs, improving service quality, and modernizing our ways of working. 

 

In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams such as Quality, Planning, Customer Service, and Strategy, as well as external partners, to help shape the evolution of our logistics network and support our growth ambitions.

Operational Leadership and Team Support

  • Support Warehousing and Transportation Managers in their daily operations and help them achieve and exceed their performance objectives.

Performance Analysis and Decision-Making

  • Conduct targeted analyses to identify key business issues, uncover trends, and recommend practical solutions.  
  • Design, automate, and maintain innovative decision-support tools that simplify performance management and enable timely, informed decision-making.

Transformation Project Management

  • Lead logistics productivity improvement and technology modernization projects from end to end, including scoping, analysis, planning, governance, implementation, and benefits realization tracking.
  • Develop business cases to support strategic investments and the adoption of new professional practices.
  • Measure and monitor the impact of initiatives on quality, costs, and productivity while ensuring rigorous performance management.

Strategic Vision and Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define long-term strategic directions for warehousing and distribution operations.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and recommend innovative solutions based on industry best practices.

Desired Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
  • Relevant experience in logistics, preferably within the food industry.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with SAP, Power BI, and Transplace (Uber Freight).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

About Danone

 

Compensation, Benefits & Hiring Transparency :

 

The annual base salary range for this position is $73 000 to $105 000 CAD. The final salary offered will be determined by factors such as relevant experience and qualifications, internal equity and external market conditions. 

 

Danone Canada also offers a competitive short-term incentive bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including group insurance, group retirement plans, wellbeing account, flexible time off, true hybrid work environment, paid parental leave, and other attractive options.
