Operations Manager Blend & Pack (Haps – Fulltime)
For our state-of-the-art factory at Haps we are looking for an Operations Manager Blend & Pack.
The Operations Department Blend & Pack is mainly focused on the subsequent packaging process. The Operations Manager Blend & Pack leads one of these units. The position directly manages the Line Lead(s) and losses operator. In addition, functional management of representatives of the supporting departments in the Unit. The Operations Manager Blend & Pack reports directly to the Factory Operations Manager.
As Operations Manager, you will prepare and achieve qualitative and quantitative (SQCDME) production objectives within the unit.
Furthermore you have the following responsibilities;
Production plans:
- develop plans for the unit Blend & Pack in the field of organization, staffing, processes, installations, etc.
- coordinate these plans in operational consultations, motivating proposals.
- develop approved plans into measurable objectives and approaches.
- monitor and coordinate budgets.
Production realization:
- organize production activities, delegate tasks, responsibilities and authorities.
- coordinate cross-disciplinary matters with other departments.
- monitor, adjust and evaluate production results.
SQCDME (Safety, Quality, Costs, Delivery, Motivation, Environment):
- draw up programs to manage risks, in consultation with other departments
- supervise and ensure compliance with procedures and regulations in the field of SQCDME.
- be able to act or make a decision in urgent situations.
Process optimization:
- stay informed of (production technical) developments and possibilities.
- initiate process improvements, engage various internal and external experts.
- draw up project plans and budgets, lead projects, ensuring implementation of results
To lead:
- lead the production organization (direct: Line Centric Organization, chairman of Department DDS consultation), coaching, motivating and encouraging employees
- ensure the development of employees, carrying out the annual HR cycle
- ensure the application of personnel policies within the department and given guidelines
- lead successfully in his/her department the culture transformation programs WISER (Safety), iCare (Quality) and IWS
- lead implementation of IWS program (power of zero defects & losses + 100% employee ownership)
Über Dich
Based on the scope and description above, the role requires an experienced Operations professional with strong proven experience in leadership and ability to lead & develop a team, multiple years of experience within Production / Food Industry.
Furthermore you are/have:
• Result driven and able to formulate & communicate objectives in clear way
• Developing a clear picture of achieving goals and fulfilling needs in the medium and long term, based on one's own field/area of responsibility
• Being able to persuade others to adjust their thoughts, plans, beliefs, positions, visions or behavior in the desired direction
• Ability to perform under pressure in a very fast paced, complex, and dynamic environment
• Experience with senior stakeholder management, strong effective communication and influence positive results
• Excellent Dutch & English verbal and written communication skills
