Job Title: Performance & Digital Manager

Location: Kettering

We currently have an opportunity for a permanent Performance & Digital Manager to join us.

 

The Performance & Digital Manager is responsible for overseeing factory performance and implementing digital projects and solutions. As a key member of the performance team, you will drive the strategic direction of production and performance areas, contribute to the wider site strategy, and ensure delivery across all areas of the SQCDME scorecard. You will influence your peers to support the IWS across the site, involving all departments.

 

Reporting to the IWS Manager, the role supports all aspects of site performance, including delivery of site KPIs in line with the company's manufacturing excellence initiative, IWS.

 

You will act as a champion for digital activities, coordinating deployments, system improvements, and developing the digital strategy and roadmap for the site.

 

The role is pivotal in rolling out new technologies to enhance manufacturing performance, implementing pilots of digital solutions, leading people transformation, and coordinating the roll-out across the plant. It focuses on shopfloor leadership, coaching, and support, with an expectation of spending 50% of the time on the shop floor.

You must have the ability to work on your own initiative, have strong communication skills, ability to prioritise and think ahead, the ability to solve technical, complex problems.

 

The following qualifications/skills are required:

 

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
  • Familiarity with Quality & Food Safety/Allergen control requirements.
  • Proficiency in Lean processes and tools, including waste reduction, problem-solving, RCA, and process improvement.
  • Strong understanding of digital tools and solutions, with a commitment to continuous self-development and learning.
  • Ability to interpret financial reporting documents and identify areas for improvement.
  • Extensive experience in the FMCG sector.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced project management and planning abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Team-oriented with a mature and professional approach.
