You will be a valuable asset of the Global Procurement Ingredients team, and will support senior buyers with day-to-day business, within the category of Fruit Upstream. We offer you a great opportunity to look into one of the essential resources of Danone, to collaborate in a multicultural environment and to be a key part of the implementation of sourcing strategies.

You will be fully involved and have real responsibilities within business processes, developing market intelligence, supporting on category strategy development, tendering, implementing contracts, and generating and supporting productivity and sustainability projects.

 

Your responsibilities include:

 

Business Process support

  • Support the buyers in tendering fruits (setting up tenders, evaluating suppliers, negotiation, contracting,..)
    • Coordinate in implementing contracts to ensure high performance

Market Intelligence

  • Contribute to buyers on understanding the business needs of Danone per region in terms of fruits by taking a lead on building market intelligence reports of fruits and suppliers on regular basis for our stakeholders

Project Management

  • Co-create and analyze business cases for productivity projects
  • Coordinate with buyers in establishing and implementing sustainability projects

About you

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain/Procurement, or a related field. You have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel; experience with SharePoint is an advantage. You possess strong analytical skills and are highly motivated, proactive, and an effective communicator. You are eager to learn and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and you are able to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and multicultural teams.

 

There are also some compulsory requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
  • For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
  • Available to start in May for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Able to work from our Hoofddorp office at least 3 days per week.
