Danone Place Singapore (DPS) Human Resource Team reports to the Global HR team based in our Company’s Headquarters in Paris. The HR team’s function consists of HR Business Partners, Compensation and Benefits, Learning and Development, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Engagement, Organization Development, Communications and Facilities. Together the team is focused on enhancing and animating the employee experience, working in a hybrid mode, with a refreshed focus on Employee Experience, Learning, Engagement & Progressive Policies.
This role reports to the HR Director and will act as a strategic partner to Team Leaders Globally with teams based in Singapore, driving the People & Organization (P&O) agenda in a fast-paced, multicultural FMCG environment.
You will play a dual role as both a business enabler and employee advocate, leveraging data, insights, and strong stakeholder management to enhance organizational performance, culture, and talent outcomes.
What will you be doing in this role?
Business Partnership and Strategic Advisor
• Partner closely with Singapore leadership (spanning the local business, regional Zone teams, and global functions) to translate Renew Danone priorities into on-the-ground people plans
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders navigating a multi-hat environment: simultaneously supporting Singapore employees and a globally connected hub workforce
• Equip Global Team Leaders to deliver consistent, equitable people support across the employee lifecycle
• Anticipating people risks and opportunities ahead of the curve, while providing proactive counsel that shapes decisions
• Use people analytics to identify trends, risks, and generate actionable insights that inform people-related business decisions in Singapore
• Build leadership capability and succession depth within Singapore, working closely with the HR Director to connect local talent to Danone's broader zone and global pipelines
• Coach and challenge leaders to foster high-performing, inclusive teams that reflect the diversity of Singapore’s and DPS’s workforce
Operational Excellence & Governance
• Lead & manage HR Digitalisation projects (local & global), ensuring successful implementation, adoption and continuous improvement of HR Systems & Process
• Own the seamless delivery of core HR cycles in Singapore (performance, compensation, workforce planning) in coordination with COEs and shared service teams
• Maintain rigorous standards in HR governance, compliance, and data integrity in line with Singapore's MOM regulatory requirements and Danone's global frameworks
• Continuously sharpen HR processes and ways of working to reflect Danone's drive for efficiency and simplicity
People, Culture & Inclusion
• Act as the primary HR partner for leaders on complex employee relations matters, handling them with sound judgment, discretion, and speed
• Steward Danone's culture and values in Singapore, ensuring that every stage of the employee lifecycle reflects the kind of workplace Danone aspires to be as part of Renew Danone strategy
• Champion employee engagement, safety & wellbeing, and Inclusion & Diversity, anchoring Danone's mission
• Perform the role of Secretary to the DPS Leadership Board, managing board meetings, agendas and documentation, and providing governance advice to support effective decision‑making and compliance.
To be successful in this role, you will need…
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field (any equivalent experience in lieu of formal qualifications will be considered)
• Professional HR certification such as IHRP-CP, IHRP-SP, SHRM-SCP, or CIPD will be highly welcomed
• 6-10yrs of progressive HR experience, ideally in business partnering with track record operating in complex, matrixed multinational environments.
• Hands-on experience in change management during restructuring, or transformation programmes.
• Exposure to Singapore employment law and MOM compliance requirements.
• Experience working closely with COEs (L&D, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards) and shared services modes.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders, including C-suite and regional leadership
