The Production Coordinator/Junior designer is a creative individual who is highly organized, communicative, and collaborative. The individual contributes to the design process, makes edits to existing materials, and also has a role in project management and production. The individual is responsible for translating marketing objectives into creative strategies, designs and high quality, high impact materials for print and web. The individual must understand the brands’ needs, the competitive situation and the key insights impacting the brands’ strategy. In the promotion and sale of Nutricia products, he/she is responsible for print and electronic media that supports the strategic brands priorities and maintains integrity of the brands’ equity.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Design and produce marketing materials, packaging, email communication, web updates, invitations and event materials, sales collateral design, presentation design and design of internal training materials
  • Collaborate with strategy and design teams to develop creative concepts addressing clients’ goals and needs
  • Assist in the design and production of projects across print and digital formats
  • Design and edit print and web materials, signage, packaging and branded premiums, among other deliverables
  • Communicate with clients and attend project meetings
  • Address and interpret client feedback with the best final product in mind
  • Develop project timelines and manage work against clear goals and deadlines
  • Work independently and efficiently based on initial meeting or brief
  • Research design trends and new technologies
  • Develop supportive materials and promotional pieces for patient, consumer and HCP events, newsletters, trade shows, expos, conventions, events, and industry meetings.
  • Maintain the branded “look” of Nutricia products
  • Other duties as required

About you

  • You have a Bachelors’ degree from 4-year university or college, design-related subjects preferred
  • You have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the field of graphic design (branding/marketing experience, B2C and B2B experience and knowledge of current digital tools and trends are major pluses)
  • You are highly competent in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc. – Video/interactive software experience (Premiere, After Effects, etc.) a plus

  • You are a quick learner, with a desire to learn new skills
  • You are fluent in all things digital including responsive web design for emails and websites (or willing to learn)
  • You demonstrate creativity: quickly generate a variety of innovative design concepts and solutions
  • You efficiently execute on the final direction, including smart problem-solving skills
  • You show sustained enthusiasm and commitment to helping us grow our business
  • You are fully versed in designing for print and web (and the differences between them)
  • You possess strong knowledge of typography, use of scale, color and layout
  • You possess attention to detail, with ability to juggle multiple projects
  • You have excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • You have the ability to take a project from concept through final product, with direction and feedback

The base compensation range for this position is $75k-90k commensurate with experience.
