- As a Quality Operation Director you will lead and manage quality assurance teams across industrial plants and distribution centers.
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of industrial plants and distribution centers to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and supply chain, to drive quality improvements and ensure seamless operations.
- Develop training programs and workshops to educate staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Monitor and report quality metrics, progress, and issues to the VP of Quality, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Manage and mentor a team of 6 direct reports, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance and incorporate relevant practices into the organization.
- Lead initiatives to achieve and maintain certifications and accreditations related to quality standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the organization.
A propos de vous
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar roles.
- Experience in quality assurance within industrial plants and distribution centers.
- Knowledge of Quality Processes and IWS (Integrated Work Systems).
- Experience implementing PPR´s
