About the job

Operate the Pilot Plant and contribute to innovation in new products and processes, ensuring accurate trials, reliable analysis, and best practice sharing with focus on safety, quality and efficiency.

 

Execute pilot plant operation and analysis, ensuring reliable and reproducible results for developers. Act as key operator with extended responsibility for process understanding, data quality, and continuous improvement, including digitalization and process efficiency upgrades, while supporting team capability building and on-the-job training of operators.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate the R&I pilot plant and analytical equipment for the trials required by the development team.
  • Record process parameters and analysis results in operation sheets.
  • Manage ingredients, consumables, packing and shipping of products. (Pilot samples)
  • Ensure hygiene, cleaning, and organization of pilot plant facilities.
  • Conduct routine maintenance of equipment; escalate issues as needed.
  • Share best practices and learning in team meetings
  • Contribute to safety, quality and continuous improvement of culture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to ensure smooth pilot trial and knowledge sharing.
  • Support digitalization of pilot plant operation by improving data recording, process logs, and trial documentation.
  • Support implementation of basic digital tools and continuous improvement initiative in alignment with Pilot plant Manager guidance.
  • Identify opportunities for process efficiency improvement (time, setup, material usage) during pilot trials propose practical countermeasures.

About you

Education background

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related field is a plus.

Technical Skills and Experiences

 

  • Practical experience in pilot plant operations or food manufacturing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food processing equipment and analytical techniques.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
