The Medical & Nutritional Science department is hiring a Dairy Science Senior Manager on a permanent contract in the FMCG Science and Innovation team. The position is based in Gif-sur-Yvette (91) on the Saclay plateau in the Danone Global Research & Innovation Center Daniel Carasso Centre which is at the heart of Danone Research & Innovation. It comprises laboratories and pilot workshops at the cutting edge of science and technology, with employees working collectively to innovate on the dairy and plant products, waters and specialized nutrition of tomorrow.
The Medical & Nutritional Science R&I division aims to create value and growth opportunities for Danone around Nutrition and/or Health.
MY MISSIONS
- Define science & evidence strategy of categories and brands
- Elaborate scientific substantiation & benefit ladders generated by scientific data overtime.
- Lead science projects for FMCG brands and categories
Ability to:
- Make the link between science and business need to valorize brands and categories
- Interact with different functions, regions and Country Business Units
- Navigate in a cross-matrix environment & collaborate in cross-functional project teams
- Align science projects with a roadmap for category and brand
- Build value propositions for scientific projects considering the competitive context of key markets, scientific review, external experts advice and consumer knowledge
- Co-build scientific protocols ensuring the communication of validated scientific messages
- Develop facts and scientific substantiation strategy based on "engines", mechanism of actions and clinical outcomes for brands
- Develop the publications Activation Plan
- Participate to the creation of guidelines for Brands Based on Science and Nutrition Strategy
- Define & Monitor the Activation KPIs and the budget follow-up
- Ensure resources allocation to the priorities of the scientific roadmap
- Adapt & exchange
Über Dich
You have a/an:
- Strong scientific background (must have) in Nutrition, dietetics, food science, public health, Health science , clinical research experience…Nice to have: Sport nutrition, sport physiology and PhD or a business experience in R&D
- Minimum 5 years, experience in the field of scientific communication and product innovation/renovation projects
- Ability to collaborate with cross-R&I teams, Marketing, Regions & CBUs General Secretariat teams
- Ability to communicate in an impactful way
- Transversal facilitation skills
- Fluent in English
