Job Summary

At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams.   We are currently looking to hire a Digital Manufacturing Leader based in our Fort Worth, Texas manufacturing plant!   The Digital Manufacturing Leader is responsible for executing the Fort Worth site Digital Masterplan by transforming complex data into actionable insights that accelerate decision-making, eliminate losses, and improve productivity across all site functions. This role serves as the site’s digital architect — integrating systems, connecting databases (including SAP), and building scalable digital tools that enable leaders and frontline teams to make timely, data-driven decisions. The position partners cross-functionally across Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR to digitize workflows, automate reporting, and create performance transparency that drives operational excellence and Zero Loss mindset execution.

Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, you will play an important role in driving our mission forward. The following responsibilities outline the core expectations and contributions for this position:

 

Digital Strategy & Execution

  • Lead execution of the site Digital Masterplan aligned to business priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to digitize, automate, and simplify work processes.
  • Standardize data architecture and reporting across departments.
  • Partner with Corporate IT and Digital teams to ensure cybersecurity, system alignment, and data governance compliance.
  • Collaborate with DMA leadership to align site digital initiatives with broader DMA standards, tools, and best practices
  • Partner with operations leaders to ensure digital tools directly support manufacturing priorities such as productivity, loss reduction, reliability, and efficiency
  • Support deployment, improvement, and adoption of downtime and loss tracking tools, ensuring data accuracy and usability for operations teams

Data Architecture, SAP Integration & System Connectivity

  • Connect, extract, and transform data from multiple systems including:
  • SAP (production, maintenance, inventory, financial modules)
  • Manufacturing execution systems
  • Quality systems
  • Maintenance systems
  • Utilities monitoring systems
  • Build automated data pipelines between SAP and reporting platforms.
  • Develop structured, scalable data models for reporting and analytics.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and governance across systems.
  • Translate SAP transactional data into actionable operational insights.

Power BI & Advanced Reporting

  • Develop interactive, automated Power BI dashboards supporting:
    • Operational Excellence (OE, PR, FR, losses)
    • Maintenance KPIs (PM compliance, MTBF, MTTR)
    • Quality & Food Safety performance
    • Safety metrics
    • Financial and cost performance drivers
  • Design dashboards that support DDS, weekly performance reviews, and monthly business reviews.
  • Eliminate manual Excel-based reporting through automation.
  • Enable self-service analytics for department leaders.

SharePoint, PowerApps & Workflow Automation

  • Design and manage SharePoint sites to centralize documentation and communication.
  • Build PowerApps to digitize manual processes (downtime requests, audits, approval workflows, loss tracking, maintenance requests).
  • Develop automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline cross-functional communication.
  • Improve collaboration and transparency across the site.

Cross-Functional Project Leadership

  • Lead digital improvement projects across all site functions.
  • Partner with functional leaders to define data needs and performance metrics.
  • Manage project timelines, adoption plans, and sustainability.
  • Train teams to ensure sustained digital tool utilization.

Decision-Making Enablement

  • Improve speed and quality of decision-making by ensuring leaders have:
  • Real-time visibility
  • Standardized reporting
  • Reliable data Support IWS, RTT relaunches, and loss elimination initiatives with strong digital infrastructure. Coach and mentor site resources – CI engineers and Operational Excellence leaders - in CI activities

Impact on the Site

  • Success in this role will:
    • Reduce manual reporting time across departments
    • Improve visibility of operational and financial losses
    • Accelerate decision-making at DDS and leadership levels
    • Strengthen SAP data utilization at the site
    • Improve productivity and operational efficiency
    • Support the site’s Zero Loss and digital transformation ambitions

Physical Demands

This role requires standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs. 

 

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moderate noise and temperature variations.
  • Work schedules could include nights, weekends and/or holidays to provide the ability to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment as business needs dictate.  

Engagement in our Integrated Work Systems
Ensure adherence to plant standards and procedures (including but not limited to GMP, AIB, FDA, IWS, Quality, Safety, Finance, ISO, HOPE, Danone Behaviors, Daily Direction Setting, Driving OE). As a fundamental piece of the organization, your responsibility is to participate and own the implementation and deployment of IWS system and its pillars (Leadership foundation, Daily Direction Setting, Driving OE; Autonomous Maintenance; planned Maintenance; Focused Improvement; Education and Training; Environmental, Health and Safety; Quality; Organization; Supply Network; Early Equipment Management) with the objective of owning your space, owning your performance (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Mobilization, Nature) and owning your continuous improvement.

Education & Experience:

 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environments.
  • Advanced experience with:
    • Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard development)
    • PowerApps
    • Power Automate
    • SharePoint development
    • Strong database knowledge (SQL, data modeling, data transformation).
    • Experience building automated reporting and digital workflows.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Strong Plus:

  • Experience working with SAP (ECC or S/4HANA).
  • Demonstrated experience connecting to SAP and extracting data for reporting.
  • Understanding of SAP production, maintenance, inventory, or financial modules.
  • Experience integrating SAP data into Power BI or other analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with API integrations and advanced automation.
  • Experience in CPG or food & beverage manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of IWS, TPM, or Lean manufacturing systems.
