Manufacturing Capability Leader

Sobre el trabajo

You’re looking for fulfillment; we’re looking for You!

Manufacturing Capability Leader

As a Manufacturing Capability Leader, you will occupy the critical intermediary position within this governance cascade. The MCL is the principal IWS authority across a cluster of approximately 4 sites, accountable for translating global and regional IWS standards into sustained, results-oriented site deployment. Unlike site-level roles which combine IWS responsibilities with day-to-day operations, the MCL role is full-time and exclusively IWS-focused, carrying both technical mastery and senior leadership influencing expectations.

The MCL serves as the primary coach, capability builder, and pre-assessment authority for assigned sites, acting as the bridge between global IWS governance and local factory leadership ensuring that each site advances systematically through IWS phases against agreed business, capability, and culture dimensions.

As a Manufacturing Capability Leader, you will be doing the following activities:

IWS Governance Across Assigned Sites
•    Govern the overall IWS implementation across approximately 4 assigned manufacturing sites, maintaining consistent deployment standards aligned to the DAN-IWS Global Standard.
•    Execute monthly 3-day structured site visits per site, assessing IWS system health across Business, Capabilities, and Culture dimensions.
•    Conduct site IWS Phase Pre-Assessments and readiness evaluations, identifying gaps and prescribing targeted remediation prior to formal phase advancement.
•    Participate in Factory Leader business reviews for each assigned site, presenting IWS status with evidence-based findings.
RTT Coaching & DMS System Health
•    Serve as a qualified RTT Coach, supporting active RTT cycles across assigned sites with structured coaching on all Daily Management System (DMS) elements.
•    Assess RTT Hardpoints adoption and DMS system health, diagnosing deterioration risks and executing coaching interventions to restore system health.
•    Qualify site IWS Lead against the Step Up Card (SUC), ensuring local capability meets minimum proficiency standards before phase advancement.
•    Champion the learn-do-teach methodology in all coaching interactions to build self-sustaining site capability.
Capability Building & Leadership Development
•    Design and facilitate loss-driven trainings and workshops targeted at Line Trio-LSL and system owners to close identified capability gaps.
•    Deliver structured feedback to Plant Leader, IWS Leader, and Pillar Leaders following site visits, using the DAN-IWS Feedback Protocol.
•    Execute Leadership Alignment sessions, aligning site Plant Leadership Teams (PLT) to Compelling Business Need (CBN) delivery plans and IWS phase requirements.
•    Coach Factory Leader in upward IWS accountability, building their capacity to independently govern and review pillar system health.
Site Business Shared Accountability
•    Maintain shared accountability for site-level Process Reliability (PR) improvement and loss-elimination project outcomes across the assigned portfolio.
•    Coordinate cross-site business strategy and project animation, including PR improvement initiatives and loss elimination pipelines.
•    Track and report productivity, savings realization, and other key metrics performance improvements attributable to IWS deployment progress.
Be Part of Regional Pillar System
•    Serve as Regional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for at least one IWS pillar system, owning the Standard Work Process (SWP) and ensuring regional consistency of deployment.
•    Qualify site system owners against regional pillar phase standards, maintaining a living qualification record.
•    Participate in the Global System Owner Network, contributing to best-practice calibration across regions.
•    Support regional pillar phase calibration, ensuring site pillar assessments align with regional scoring standards.
