The Chapter Leader Back End Mgr, specializes in forming and maintaining a full-stack engineering tech family. While they are technically credible and know the details of what engineers work on, their time is spent safeguarding their team's health and putting them in the best position to succeed. They own the development of capabilities and skills of the devs and are always looking to improve productivity.
• Manage a combined team of engineers.
• Help engineers grow their skills and experience
• Run agile or waterfall project management processes depending on the product and delivery.
• Provide guidance and coaching to team members on technical contributions, product architecture, and other areas.
• Maintain empathy for the team by keeping awareness of engineering processes and practices. o Coding Best Practices o Compliance & security reviews o Data & Cloud effectiveness management.
• Generate and implement process improvements
• Hold regular 1:1s with all members of their team
• Give regular and transparent feedback about the individual's performance
• Draft quarterly OKRs and Engineering KPIs
• Improve product quality, security, and performance
• Bachelor of science degree in computer science or similar
• 8+ years of software development/engineering experience
• 5+ years of software architecture design and development.
• 3+ years of IT solution management (front end & back end teams)
• experience in a leadership role with current technical experience
• Advanced knowledge of one or more software development languages and proficiency in all related languages
• Advanced knowledge of relevant operating systems and communication interfaces
• Advanced knowledge of software design and testing principles
• Experience working with onshore and offshore vendor partners Technical Skills:
• For FrontEnd : o HTML5 o Javascript o CSS o Typescript o Nodejs o React o Angular o Bootstrap and Material controls o Experience in projects with Microservices architectures o Knowledge of integration with web and REST services o Automated tests o Knowledge of functional development patterns o Agile Framework o Continue integration tools (Jenkins) o Code repository (Github/Bitbucket)
