We are currently looking for an experienced, switched on pharmaceutical sales representative to join our well-established team as a Product Specialist (Memory &DRM). In this position you will work in a defined Western Australia and South Australia territory with our unique and well-established products. As part of our team, you’ll play a pivotal role in establishing these products as market leader by communicating product information to the specialists, GPs and other HCPs and developing strong relationships with all the key stakeholders.

 

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Engage with HCPs (Geriatricians, Neurologists, GPs) to recommend and educate on the use of Souvenaid, the Souvenaid Connections (SC) Program and our other nutritional products through all relevant field force channels, both face-to-face and digital and in line with strategic priorities.
  • Understand and present key clinical paper findings on Souvenaid and other products to key opinion leaders
  • Build the credibility of Souvenaid and other products in accordance with Danone policies and ANZ regulations.
  • Establish strong scientific based partnerships with HCPs to ensure sustainable business growth.
  • Implement and monitor business strategies to enable HCPs recommendation of Souvenaid and other nutritional products. 
  • Develop and drive a territory business plan per defined targeted customers according to profiling & segmentation criteria and across all relevant field force triggered channels.
  • Implement and achieve agreed sales targets within the territory to exceed business objectives.
  • Support patients, carers and HCPs in the referral process by establishing Souvenaid as a treatment for dementia and facilitating registration into SC and purchase of Souvenaid 
  • Work cross-functionally to manage end-to-end logistics, where needed, for educational events and trade sponsorship

About you

You are self-motivated and can work autonomously within a wider national team. You will enjoy working towards results, love dealing with different people daily, and be able to handle ambiguity and barriers that may be put your way.  You adapt quickly, are hands-on, and have a proven track record of sales excellence and territory management. You will demonstrate a passion for the Nutricia brands and pride yourself on the self-development of your own personal brand both internally and externally from the business.

 

Ideally, you will have:

 

Education

  • Registered Healthcare Professional or similar tertiary (bachelor’s degree) qualifications.

 

Experience

  • Previous sales experience in Hospital Specialty (Preferably Dementia) – 2+ years
  • Proven track record of sales excellence and territory management
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders

 

Specialist Knowledge

  • Demonstrated business planning, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • High level of professionalism, confidence and proficiency in persuasive influencing and networking with Specialist HCPs.
  • Competent IT skills (Microsoft office packages) and experience in sales data extraction and analysis.
